After-School Yoga
This is a semester-long course for elementary aged children.
Classes will help kids develop body awareness by learning how to move and use their bodies in healthy ways. Kids will learn how to manage stress through breathing and movement. Each class will teach awareness and build concentration by practicing yoga postures and meditation.
These activities will help increase body confidence and enhance positive self image by being part of a healthy environment in a non-competitive setting.
Yoga is a great alternative to being tethered to an electronic device. Allow your kids to develop their minds and stimulate their bodies in new and healthful ways.
No prior yoga experience is needed. Yoga mats will be provided.
