Mommy and Me Yoga
This is a fun and relaxed introduction to yoga for mothers and their babies and toddlers. Poses in this class focus on helping to regain strength, balance and muscle tone all while bonding with your child through music, touch and playing. The focus of this class is to provide a sense of wellbeing and to strengthen bonds of mothers and babies, within a community of mothers. Postures will focus on rebuilding core strength and tone. Poses will also help to alleviate neck and back strain. Modifications of poses will make every mother and child, regardless of fitness level, feel motivated and included.
Participation in this class will ease stress and the sense of isolation that can happen to some mothers.
