Young Adult / Anxiety Yoga
This class focuses on tying breath to movement to ease tension in large muscle masses. Students interested in easing stress will find these poses helpful. They will help you calm and find your center as you navigate the stress of the modern world. Targeted areas of the body that hold tension, such as the neck, back and shoulders will be the focus. Postures are a combination of physical poses and controlled breathing to alleviate the symptoms of stress and anxiety. Mat work and relaxation combine in this class to allow students to rewire their minds and bodies to learn helpful techniques that can be applied throughout the day to relieve stress and anxiety.
Open to all levels and age groups. Young adults may find this class particularly helpful in their life transition.
